PayPal account recovery

I'm continuing with my account recovery series. I covered Google in December and Amazon in February. Like Amazon, but unlike Google, Paypal offers no fail-safe check. If someone has access to your email, they can control your account. All they need to do is click on the "I forgot my password" link at sign-in and PayPal will email you a link verification code to reset your password. The hardest part of the process was answering the stupid captcha test. You can also reset the password by phone if you are away from your computer, so they can also steal your account if you lose your phone.

So, as with Amazon, it is critical to have a good email password that is very difficult to break, otherwise, you can lose control of your Paypal account.
