Uber has a fleet of self driving, autonomous trucks. They are part of their truck network using their Uber Freight app. As with their autonomous cars, Uber is still having a driver behind the wheel for safety. The testing is beginning in Arizona. Trucking might be a better option than passenger cars because the routes are more fixed and details of the route could be pre-programmed.
