Interesting educational places to visit

We all know about khan academy  but there are many other places we can go to expand our horizons. Here are a few of the better ones I've found. All of these are free. Open Culture is a collection of other sites from around the web so the quality varies. The others are very high-quality productions.

Crash Course

At Crash Course, we believe that high-quality educational videos should be available to everyone for free. The Crash Course team has produced more than 15 courses to date, and these videos accompany high school and college level classes ranging from the humanities to the sciences. Crash Course transforms the traditional textbook model by presenting information in a fast-paced format, enhancing the learning experience.
With hundreds of millions of views on our YouTube channel, Crash Course has a worldwide audience in and out of classrooms. While the show is an immensely helpful tool for students and teachers, it also has a large viewership of casual learners who seek out online educational content independently. It has changed attitudes towards education by creating a community of learners who are looking for more than just help passing a test. We hope Crash Course is useful to you, and thanks for watching!

Open Culture

Open Culture editor Dan Colman scours the web for the best educational media. He finds the free courses and audio books you need, the language lessons & movies you want, and plenty of enlightenment in between.

Open culture offers 1200 Free online courses, over 1,000 Free Movies, 700 free books, 200 textbooks, 300 language lessons, and 150 business courses.

This site links to courses provided elsewhere, so it is really a collection of much-varied stuff. A good place to find all sorts of educational websites.

Hillsdale College courses

Hillsdale College offers about 20 online courses consisting of 40-minute lectures, readings (available for download), quizzes, and discussion groups. Most have to do with the Constitution, but also general economics and liberal arts. These lectures are delivered by the faculty at Hillsdale College.

Prague U

PragerU has short 5 minute videos on a variety of current topics from a conservative point of view. Their tag line is: "Short Videos. Big Ideas". They have over 100 videos, well done by top-notch scholars. They claim over 60 million people have seen at least one of their videos.
