Apple Abandons Quicktime


Apple has given up on Quicktime for Windows, and despite known vulnerabilities will not patch it anymore. If it is on your computer, uninstall it and find an alternative. Windows Media player should work fine, but many people prefer VLC.

Quicktime has never been supported for Windows 8 or 10, though it could be installed on them.
