Firefox ResetThough I do like Google's Chrome, most of you know Firefox is my preferred browser. However, sometimes after updating it year after year, things get slow and sometimes wonky (That's a technical term). This can occur as many add-ons get tried, tested and only partially removed. So, every few years it makes sense to clean it up. Jot down the add-ons you really need, and then pull down the help menu and choose Troubleshooting Information. Then select Reset. This will wipe out all the add-ons, including the ones you thought you'd removed. It leaves the bookmarks, but most other information is reset to default conditions. Sometimes this is useful to fix things that even uninstalling and re-installing will fail to fix.Date: June 2013
