Close your programs every nightI've noticed that people who don't close all their programs every night tend to have many more problems with their computers than those who do. It is fine to leave your computer on all night, I do, but you need to reboot it a couple times a month and close your programs every night. Many programs leak memory, that is, when they do something they take some memory to work with and then never give it back to Windows to distribute to other programs. In time, this ends up causing Windows to act in strange ways. Your computer will work much more smoothly if you just close all your open programs before you leave for the day.Date: August 2012
