Grouping Your Firefox Tabs

You can collect any group of tabs together into a single tab, which can be expanded or collapsed. Here's how.

It is often helpful to group some of your tabs together. I group both my banking tabs and my search tabs. You can group any set of sites you wish together into a single always available tab.

Step 1. Be sure group tabs is enabled

Type About:config in the address bar.
Accept risk
Type: browser.tabs.groups.enabled in the search bar
Set it to true.

Step 2. Making a Banking Tab Group

First: Open some of your banking sites
Next: Right click on a banking site tab and select Select "Add Tab to New Group"
Name the new group Banking
Finally, add the rest of your tabs to it by right-clicking on them and choosing to Add to your banking group.

Pin and Arrange

Drag this tab group to the left so it is always there
Clicking on the label will expand all the tabs.
Then Clicking on it again will collapse the tabs.
To really make this work for you, you'll need to set Firefox to always open up with this tab available. From settings, choose General then Startup, and Open previous windows and tabs. This opens all the tabs on opening Firefox that were open when you closed Firefox.

Doing Tab Groups in Brave

Brave tab groups work exactly the same way as Firefox's. To get the tab group to always be available when you start up, go to the Menu, then Get Started, then under On startup choose Continue where you left off.
