These power outlet splitters from Cable Matters are frequently handy. I keep a couple in my travel bag. Even though we buy a 6 or 7 outlet surge protector, it is common that we can only plug in 3 or 4 things, because of the large power adapters taking up two spaces. These are nice 1 foot cables that plug in. The cord comes out at an angle, avoiding a nearby connector, and you can plug something into the top bypass and also the plug. It allows two devices to share a single plug, even if one is a power adapter that would normally take two slots!
